We can't make 5nm chips in the US. China's SMIC, Huawei, TSMC & Samsung make all those high tech chips.

Trump's bans & tariffs on China's SMIC & Huawei caused massive years long backlogs at Taiwan TSMC & chip shortage here in the US. We are screwed until 2024 when US production ramps up. Idiot Trump should have built chip plants here before banning China's chips.

No - Intel outsourced all it's production years ago & got surpassed by their suppliers. Intel currently can't produce anything below 10nm, while Asia makes all 7nm, 5nm & is ready to launch 3nm in a year or two.
