France 24 sounding the alarm and Macron talking about potential tariffs against China as the U.S purchased 25% fewer Chinese made goods but Europe got flooded with Chinese produced goods and purchased 15% more. Europe now sees how China laughing at WTO rules is going to send the EU into mass unemployment. Trump was once again, wisely way ahead of the curve (if he can stay the course). Europeans are slow learners it seems. Business - China's trade surplus hits record $1.08 trillion after just 11 months

Another Trump failure based on not understanding business. China is winning the trade war. He’s failed at every business except entertainment and grifting. This is now just a tax on Americans with no benefit. Awesome.

President Trump’s tariffs weren’t enough to hold back the global export flood by China, which pushed past last year’s record in just 11 months.

Tariffs imposed by President Trump on China have caused Chinese exports to the United States to drop by nearly a fifth. But China has throttled back its purchases of American soybeans and other products by almost the same rate, continuing to sell three times as much to the United States as it buys.

China’s $111.68 billion trade surplus in November was its third-largest ever in a single month. The overall surplus through the first 11 months of the year is up 21.7 percent from the same period last year.

Trump wasn't trying to keep China from trading with the world. What a weird and desperate thread

And the rubes still think they're "winning".

God damn.

I already posted this in Asia.sexrion, China flooded Europe with goods as Americans bought 25% less Chinese products. Now Macron is warning that tariffs need to be applied to China since they are causing mass unemployment due to state funded goods which violate WTO rules. America is far better off than Europe atm.

CHICAGO ― Shipments of U.S. crops to China are accelerating after a tense tariff war had stalled trade for months, with at least six bulk cargo vessels scheduled to load China-bound soybeans at Gulf Coast terminals through mid-December, according to a shipping schedule seen by Reuters.

A seventh U.S. soybean cargo was loaded over the past weekend and is already en route to China, the first such shipment since May.

But I thought leftists say US would buy less because of tariffs. Make up your mind

Do tariffs hurt the US consumers? Yes or no?

I am not sure where your quote is coming from, have a link? I tried the one in the OP and it's a dead link.

With that said, China is back to buying soybeans....trump got the better deal, and China's doing what it said

You are a typical globalist for whom America is an afterthought

Global trade is an issue

But our primary purpose is what's best for America not what's bad for china

Chinese exports to the US fell by 28%

We said you’d pay more for goods. We all know the US isn’t making underwear in factories here.
I cant speak for others, but I have always said that tariffs increase costs to American consumers
