China's trade surplus hits record $1.08 trillion after just 11 months

China’s trade surplus roared above $1 trillion in November for the first time ever, despite the ongoing global trade war that has resulted in a steep drop in exports to the U.S.

In the first 11 months this year, China’s overall exports grew 5.4% compared to the same period in 2024 while imports fell 0.6%, taking its trade surplus to $1.076 trillion this year as of November, up 21.6% year on year.

And guess who paid for the 1 Trillion surplus? American consumers paid for it. While the president gives himself peace awards and and is killing alleged drug dealers, US consumers are paying for his Ignorance. There was a con job and he is sitting in the WH.
This here is a definition of a cult member who loves to slurp up whatever the media regurgitated for him without question.

Who believed it was the US trade deficit? It’s laid out clearly in the OP.
Are you simply an ignoramus or willfully full of ignorance because of your incurable stage 4 TDS?

No idea what you are babbling about. Do you read your own shit?

Do you do research before posting? Also, did you know Mexico is putting heavy tariffs on Chinese made goods?

Now perhaps you want to retract this error of yours to avoid embarrassment.

The US didn't have a $1 trillion trade deficit with China. That total is the combined global total.

Man up will ya. You swallowed whatever the fake news feed you.

France 24 sounding the alarm and Macron talking about potential tariffs against China as the U.S purchased 25% fewer Chinese made goods but Europe got flooded with Chinese produced goods and purchased 15% more. Europe now sees how China laughing at WTO rules is going to send the EU into mass unemployment. Trump was once again, wisely way ahead of the curve (if he can stay the course). Europeans are slow learners it seems. Business - China's trade surplus hits record $1.08 trillion after just 11 months

Having cheap things produced elsewhere, while they produce expensive things, it's not a bad way to do it.

I know this thread is a bit old but I'm really starting to question CCPs legitimacy. Canadas economy shrunk and we didn't lose nearly as much of a market in the U.S as China did.

I can't Africa replacing this market and Europe are full of cheap people.

After doing a bit of reading and research, I'm call this $1 Trillion brag suspect. However, Trump and his team should utilize it as a reason to confront China economically due to this immense imbalance. Make China pay a price for juicing their numbers in order for them to save face to their population who are increasingly unhappy.
