Speaking at a Chinese military industry summit on December 20, Luo took aim at the US military, which he described as one of “five cornerstones” of possible US weakness. According to the academic, “what the United States fears the most is taking casualties.”
Pointing to China’s growing anti-ship and cruise missile capabilities, which he said are now able to get past a carrier’s escorts, Luo said that the destruction of a single carrier would cost 5,000 US servicemen’s lives, while destroying two such carriers would double the losses.
“We’ll see how frightened America is,” he said.
Speaking more broadly, Luo said that in dealing with Washington, Beijing must “use its strength to attack the enemy’s shortcomings. Attack wherever the enemy is afraid of being hit. Wherever the enemy is weak, just focus on developing [an advantage].”
And he's ABSOLUTELY right. If China sinks a few US Aircraft Carriers, the Left will probably nominate China for several Nobel "Peace" Prizes.
From US Planes falling apart due to lack of funds for parts and maintenance, to the US military being feminized and made gay to satisfy political correctness, to Quantum technology......
China is Fast forwarding it's technological advantages and leaving the US in the dust.
This is what happens when 1.3 billion people work together. China makes no attempt to declare it's intent for global domination. Nor any attempt to mask it's horrible history of human rights abuses.
This is what happens when painting the White House in Rainbow colors is more important than your country. Perhaps freedom and individuality was a losers strategy after all? Sure appears that way.
However, Americans can still be PROUD of these facts.....for a short while longer anyway....
1). Gay rights are now more important than National Defense
2). Americans would rather shut down the government than protect it's citizens and borders.
3). Becoming a Social Media Star (if even in your head), has eclipsed the desire to get a formal education
4). We have crumbling Infrastructure, but at least burger flippers will get $15.00/hr
5). The US has the highest population per capita of drug abusers
