China leads the world in renewables installed in 2024

Because we'll all be dead from global warming in 6 years, right?
No, dumb ass, but we may be losing massive amounts of infrastructure and homes to extreme weather events due to a changing climate brought on by AGW. One would have to be incredibly stupid to try to sell that red herring.

What impact do you believe the widespread use of renewables will have on the planet’s climate?

Very little. For the good of the planet, too little to late. Negatives, damned few. No railroads needed for transporting coal, no mountaintops removal required to fuel the generators. No pipelines needed for transporting gas, no leaking well adding CH4 to the atmosphere. Foolish installation of solar can cover land that could be used in tamden with agriculture and wildlife simply by elevating it a bit. Wind needs some engineering to avoid bird and bat kills. However, even for raptors, the roads near the mills kill more than do the wind turbines.

Irrelevant and misleading anyway as you didn't see old rocks own source that shows how he is misleading people and YOU being ignorant, here is my post in another thread, from Post #14 LINK

You are so bad at this since chart #4 shows that America started declining their Per Capita emissions rate about the year 2000 and it was a sharp decline, while it peaked back in the 1960's.

Chart #6 shows that since about the year 2000 America Annual emission have dropped sharply as well while China Skyrocketed to more and DOUBLE the year emissions of America and still going up rapidly while America is still declining today.

Share of global CO2 emissions shows that China is now #1 at over 40% while America dropped from a high peak of nearly 60% in the late 1940's to less than 20% today.

America has been reducing their ANNUAL CO2 emissions for several decades now and you didn't seem to notice it that is how poor a researcher you are.
Ah crap. And you know better than that. What a liar you are. I know damned well we have been reducing our emissions. But we are still #2 after China in emissions. And if the present trend continues and our idiot President gets his way, we will soon be #1.

LOL, as usual you don't back up your stupid claim and you contradicted yourself in the process, I didn't lie at all thus YOU are the one lying.

You claim America will once again be #1 and soon but there is no indication of any uptick while China is still zooming away upward widening the gap between China and USA.

You simply have no argument to offer just word salad crap is all you can muster.

Chinese CO2 is going to destroy our infrastructure?
******* commie bastards, I knew it!

LOL Our dumb bastard leader is doing his best to get us back to using coal as the primary generating fuel. It is just that the utilities are looking for the fasted and most economical methods of generation that keeps him from succeeding in that idiots pursuit. Even in Texas they know that solar and wind are the future;

Solar energy
In 2024, Texas was the largest source of new generation in the U.S. for solar energy, contributing 12 terawatt-hours to the country's solar generation, more than any other state. The state also led in wind energy, generating 115,000 gigawatt-hours of wind-powered electricity, and in battery storage, with 3.9 gigawatts installed, the highest capacity in the country. Overall, Texas's renewable energy growth has made it a significant player in the U.S. energy landscape, with wind and solar combined accounting for nearly 27% of all electricity generation.

Well, at least you admit that climate change is destroying our infrastructure. Now if you could just bring yourself to use logic and see that the cause of this is the addition of GHG's from the burning of fossil fuels. Ah well, maybe in ten years or so.

Yawn.... many here have been over this with you and all you do is be closeminded, Trump is removing the massive Tax and Subsidies from Wind and Solar but not outlawing building them.

To keep it industrial machine going, China has to add much more generation. And that leads to using as much renewables as they can build, because that is the least expensive form of generation. So in 2024, 60% of renewable energy installation done in the world was done in China. In the meantime, the present administration in the US is trying to put us back into the 19th century with Trump's energy policies.

Based on photos of solar panels taken at such a distance as to make it impossible to tell they are actually just paper made to look like solar panels. Meanwhile, 1000 new coal mines are opened each month.

Not climate change, Chinese CO2.

So renewables won’t cool the planet?
