ESPECIALLY when the left doesn't defend you. They circle the drain....er, wagon like no other.
I'm not asking anyone to defend me, right or left. It's not necessary. I'm asking if there is anyone out there who can challenge the facts? So far, no one has come forward. And I know you certainly won't.
So there you have it. Trump sheep with their hair on fire, who can't logically or intelligently explain or defend away, the geo- political nightmare that has consumed Central and South America at the hands of the U.S. government.
As always, the Right blames the symptom, not the cause.
You have to provide facts, before there is any need to challenge them. You have provided propaganda and lies. You being so ignorant that such propaganda has deceived you, does not reflect on the rest of us ignoring those lies.
You being fooled.... does not mean we are fooled, or that we are somehow obligated to challenge your foolishness.
There are dozens of people on this forum that believe in socialism. If your argument had even the smallest shred of legitimacy, they would be here supporting your argument.
They are not, because even the rest of the left-wing morons, are not fooled by the stupidity that has taken over your mind.
United States–Venezuela relations - Wikipedia
Just so you know, this forum has rules against just randomly spamming links or pictures without comment.
We don't need to know how to click on a wiki link. Just like we don't need to know how to click on CNN or something else.
The purpose of a forum is to engage in discussion. If you have absolutely nothing of any value to say, then don't. Just go somewhere else. If we want to read a wiki page on US Venezuela relations, we don't need your help to find it and read it. If you are going to post, then you need to have something to say...... yourself... not some random page.
That said, let me help you out.
From your own link, that you posted.......................
United States–Venezuela relations - Wikipedia
Chávez's socialist ideology and the tensions between the Venezuelan and the United States governments had
little impact on economic relations between the two countries. On September 15, 2005, President Bush designated Venezuela as a country that has "failed demonstrably during the previous 12 months to adhere to their obligations under international counternarcotics agreements." However, at the same time, the President
waived the economic sanctions that would normally accompany such a designation,
because they would have curtailed his government's assistance for democracy programs in Venezuela. In
2006, the United States remained Venezuela's most important trading partner for both oil exports and general imports – bilateral trade expanded 36% during that year
[25] As of 2007, the U.S. imported more than $40 billion in oil from Venezuela and the
trade between the countries topped $50 billion despite the tumultuous relationship between the two.[26] With rising oil prices and Venezuela’s oil exports accounting for the bulk of trade, bilateral trade between the US and Venezuela surged, with US companies and the Venezuelan government benefiting.
[27] Nonetheless, since May 2006, the Department of State, pursuant to Section 40A of the
Arms Export Control Act, has prohibited the sale of defense articles and services to Venezuela because of lack of cooperation on anti-terrorism efforts.
So let us review what..... YOUR LINK.... says.
- The socialist ideology that was destroying the economy of Venezuela, had little impact on economic relations between the US and Venezuela.
- While Venezuela refuse to tackle narcotics in accordance with agreements with the US, Bush specifically waived sanctions in order to keep sending assistance to Venezuela from the US.
- For years after Hugo Chavez, and years into the decline of the Venezuela economy, the US remained Venezuela's number one trade partner.
Far from the US has been waging economic warfare, the US has actually done more to help and support the Venezuelan economy, than any other country.
In fact..... adding information from my own sources, Venezuela still recieves far more from the US, than anyone else.

We export to Venezuela, more than anyone else.
If this mythical blockade exists, then the US Government is proving rather pathetically bad at destroying Venezuela, when it allows so much trade though this blockade.
