If childcare costs eat up that income what's the point? Better a stay-at-home mom on welfare than giving up your motherhood to a stranger.

Even better to stay at home and take care of your kids while your HUSBAND goes out and earns a living to provide for all of you.

I just have no patience for people who refuse to plan for themselves, whether it's because they're lazy, stupid or just natural cons who are good at manipulating other people into doing things for them. I'm just not into people who always make their lives someone else's problem.
