Its been only two days but I believe its going to come out that we did this at the right time. If Trump truely gave them a chance in negotiations and they rejected, then I think we pretty much knew what their end game was. At that point its better to strike them while they are still weak. IMHO

You know, the more I see and hear their rhetoric the more I think of the Russians in the 60s who convinced the world they had more nukes than America when they did not.

Then the U2 plane captured so much information and the Russians could not intercept it due to its height and their charade was exposed.

China is like Russia, both communist to their core in that they control narratives and have mastered the art of deception and misrepresentation.

I have always been of the opinion that nothing separates the wheat from the chaff better than war. Only the fools lie to their superiors and the superiors to their leaders. It ends up in failure. History has shown this, always better to demand the facts, not the "feel good story to look good". It is not a corporation, lives require facts.

Then you assess the effectiveness of the technology and America is proving they are ahead. Do not show your hand though, keep innovating and remaining ahead, China must never even reach parity, the chasm must expand not shrink.

This will mean A.I, smaller, self controlled (or semi/hybrid) vehicles and ordanances. Robots and large clusters of drones is the future no doubt.

Regardless, there was a Chinese govt official who said that if Israel attacked Iran that the response from Iran would end Israel within half an hour. Refer to my responses above...in times of real war, talk is just that. You cannot fake the failures of your military when the entire world can see.

Dont understimate Chinese and Russian support of Iran though be it weapons, supplies and especially intelligence.

I get the feeling the Brits and even the French want to contribute now because they see where this is headed and if they want it ended quickly they would be wise to assist at least logistically.

1. It is going to really hurt sales of chicom military weapons now that they are proven almost worthless against the USA and the USA is probably one of the greatest worries by the countries buying them.
2. It really makes the Chinese very insecure now in any planned, feared or expected offensive or defensive confrontations with the USA.
3. This really puts the kibosh now on any plans to invade Taiwan. Last thing China needs now is to invade the island and provoke a defensive response by the USA.
