The obvious answer would be yes. Even the most stout hearted military commander would fear someone equal if not mightier than he.
So why is it so easy to NOT fear God? Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. The Wisdom that a human should not go against God by a turning away attack with insults and curses to Him while walking away.
