Meh I don't think it'll happen, maybe that's just my "thick skin," but then again my father was the commander of space missile defense up here and he always told me; "Don't worry about it."
That's what my mom, a kindergarten teacher, always told me, too. Parents are good for that.
Not my father, he was a straight up asshole drill sergeant type who could give two shits for "emotional well being," he called me a pussy for crying about anything (including falling out of trees or cutting my hand open) General's heh
No, he was talking from a military perspective. AKA their shit ain't landing. My city is right outside the base, we're like the suburb of Fort Rich (now JBER) this is where all the generals lived so they could get to work if shit hit the fan. I think all us kids here had this... idk shield of our fathers basically saying "Hell no, we're /not/ going down like that." There was always this bit of fire, kind of rebellion, that we weren't going to lay down because really if we got scared, we'd be dead. Vicariously speaking I mean. It was a big deal, but our boys up here had every damn incentive possible to stop that shit from making it here, and they were dead to rights it wasn't happening. Meh, it's hard to explain, being worried, but not in the least concerned, which kind of doesn't make sense, but then kind of does if you've experienced it.
Whatever, it's all deaf ears here, ya'll are pushing whatever political agenda so have at ya
