I saw this story this afternoon... My first thought was, WTF?

Chase Bank has canceled General Mike Flynn's personal credit card, citing "possible reputational risk to our company."

What? It's not like he's doing television spots for them. How does his possession of a Chase card threaten their reputation? Shit, last year JPMorgan Chase & Co. agreed to pay $920 million in connection with schemes to defraud Precious Metals and U.S. Treasuries Markets... now they're worried about their reputation?

I'm no Flynn fan, but I am a fan of reason and common sense and I have to say, this shit is getting ridiculous...

Absolutely.

Wanting nothing to do with Flynn is masturbation material to the left.

Everyone who hates Flynn will love Chase for kicking him to the curb.

Cancel culture.
And it's negative advertising to those that know that having a Chase card should not be political. I know now even more to avoid Chase. Positive advertising isn't chasing half the market away.

This is all comedy of course. What normal citizen says "I don't want that card because I heard through the grapevine that General Flynn has one"?

As I've said, we are exporting our industries and technology while importing authoritarianism. I've been warning you guys for years and been roundly mocked at times.

Exhibit A- "cancelling ones access to credit".

Meh. I'm sure they feel that he is a credit risk. Someone who could rack up a lot of debt, then, say, decide to live abroad, like say, in Russia.

um moving to a foreign country doesn’t cancel your debt.

Chase has along history of working with fascist, they worked with the national socialist in germany, not surprised they are doing it again here in the US

Then maybe they just don't want traitors for customers.

I think a whole lot of people are fucking sick and tired of the cancel culture shit. The Dems are going to get their asses kicked in the mid-terms and Chase is going to look like fools. Business is business, it doesn't mesh well with politics. I hope they take it in the shorts big time.

Crony corporatist fascism ain't beanbag.

According to The Blaze (someone sent me the link), Chase has reversed course...

I'm sure they put some spin on the story, truth be told, I didn't click the link...
