I agree, believing it a professional hit. Government related? Most likely. Who's government? I would not be quick to designate. Maybe Israel, maybe United States, maybe people of high influence in government, or government agencies connected with intelligence, possibly with ability to instigate a rogue operation, (for all I know) for political purposes, not readily clear. He could have been getting ready to become an embarrassment, possibly political embarrassment.
