I actually know very little about Kirk, he's not the kind of person I listen too, bit I am aware he expressed racism towards black pilots which seems rather nasty.

All Kirk ever said about the black pilots being hired sans DEI was that he hoped they would be hired due to their superior qualifications as all people should be, and not just because of their black skin again, as per DEI standards.
