I disagree.

I am absolutely repulsed by all the apologia arising from leftists, but a state funeral smacks of the very sort of partisan politization that lies at the heart of the problem.

Libs had a state funeral for McCain, who was as partisan they got.

A full day to celebrate his life, mourn his death, and listen to speeches and eulogies assigning blame for this atrocity.

This wasn't a one-man-show or lone wolf situation.

This can't continue.

Fortunately, there is space on the national mall in Washington DC for a Kirk Memorial, so that generations moving forward can see the tragedy of liberalism going amok.

He was. Maybe not in remote corners of very rural areas. But Dr. MLK was indeed very well known.
