On what bases would it of been removed? It's not like he was a felon. At this point, I don't know if there was a history mental decline to show the gun should be taken away. Not much has been released about the defendant. I do imagine defense counsel will be looking into his mental capacity.

A white man in his 80s, Andrew Lester, has been charged with two crimes in the April 13 shooting of Ralph Yarl, 16, who is Black: assault in the first degree and armed criminal action, Clay County Prosecuting Attorney Zachary Thompson said Monday.

He is 84, according to police documents. Earlier, authorities had given Lester’s age as 85.

An arrest warrant was issued for Lester, who is not in custody, Thompson said, adding that he didn't know where Lester was.

Lester's bond was set at $200,000, Thompson said.

So wait, they have a $200,000 bond set for an 85 year old man for shooting some strange kid in self defense who entered his home unannounced and unauthorized?

Generally, self defense will not work for shooting someone who knocks on your door, especially if that "threat" has fallen to the ground - aka stopped - and you shoot them again.

Works for the police all of the time who after a suspect has been hit and fallen to the ground unmoving, shoot him another 15 times until they run out of bullets.

Saved his life from the danger he got himself into, in no small part because he went into that situation thinking his gun would protect him from physical threats, which it did. It also got him into legal and financial trouble, and made him a social pariah to millions of people who otherwise wouldn't have known or cared who he was.

What you are proposing is a separate, Black nation. At the moment, most Blacks do not want this. If they ever do, patriots should support their right to have one -- as they should for any national grouping. The specifics of it would be very messy but that's how humans make their history.

In the meantime, we have to live together. All patriots, of whatever color, need to support strong measures against all criminals, of whatever color, including against petty crimes, which is how serious criminals get their start.

We need to support School Choice, which will separate the disruptive, incorrigible ones from the salvagable ones.

The coming collapse of America will root out old political loyalties. A lot of people who have voted Democrat all their lives, will see the practical, bloody results of the Democrats' pro-criminal policies. We can wina lot of these people over.
