I think there is more truth there in your words than you realize. I find it ironic how people want government out of their lives, but let something happen and see how quick they will turn to blame the very same government for not taking care of them.

The Bird Flu hype is overexaggerated fear mongering. It's the next SARS. And whatever comes around next season to kill all of us will be the next Bird Flu. It's becoming a trend. Each year we need a new disease du jour to be scared shitless of.
