I get Trumps motives. He needs to associate the tariffs with National Security and in my opinion the economy is a national security issue. He wants to bring jobs back, generate revenue and have other nations pay their share of military etc.

I said he was bluffing from the start but then he seemed so serious and committed. Canada needs to be a free nation where citizens can pursue their dreams and not be persecuted by the S.I.C. There is no other First World country in which 43% of adults under 30 would be willing to give up their citizenship for American.

Remember when the Covid truckers were allowed to pursue their dreams? That was awesome.

Not at the checkpoint crossings, but on a road in upstate New York.
Cornfields next to the road, from where the people-smuggled migrants [mostly Indian folk from India I think the US cop with him said. ]
$20,000 per person to smugglers, enter Canada as tourists, find their way to the forests beyond the cornfields, then move thru the corn fields and exit them onto the road, US soil.
They shop at the store there, then phone 911 and taxis are sent from NYC to pick them up!
