To me, this is the big question about "Global Warming": How do they convince people in temperate and cold climate areas that warming is a bad thing? The anxiety level of tree huggers in Canada is simply amazing, and yet warming is nothing but good for their whole country.

That is not on the basis of actual temperatures. It's based on algorithms, i.e. guesswork. I have not noticed much if any change in temperature in my lifetime, other than fluctuations.
