There is still some social mobility but not like it used to be.

The vehicle for social mobility used to be good paying manufacturing jobs. Start low and have ample opportunity for advancement

Those jobs have dried up. In their place are low paying jobs with limited advancement potential.

Immigrants succeed by starting businesses or working in a family business

Poor personal decisions......and those are encouraged by Democrat policies.
