War would not be profitable for China or those that control the CCP.
That would be a folly on their part.
They may have more ships and men in their military, but they gear America and starting a war could certainly would not be a protracted war this time around.

You overlook the possibility that key positions within CCP are held by Deep State as well as in Russia and the present US Government .

Which means that at the highest level individuals like Xi , Pooters and Trumpfy share the same end objectives .

Namely :-
To smash the US$ and remove the Federal Reserve .
And in part by using "minor" wars as deflection from Economic and Financial measures for real and full invasion and control .

They will continue to work for major depopulation because it just makes life all round much easier -- so many pragmatic reasons to support it .

The desired end result will be the removal of the planet bully( America) and a smaller and more compliant global Sheeple Herd that can be 100% controlled when crash retrieval technologies can then be revealed , -----with ZPE being far the most imporrtant which the Elite must control to ensure their own future .

Leaving aside that China has every right to re-assert her sovereignty over a break-away province, Trump's tariffs aren't going to hurt China that much.

China will still get paid for its widgets, Americans will just pay more for them.

I'd be more worried about Trump starting a war with someone like a cheap Reality TV stunt.

There are only 3800 people living on those Islands. They can be relocated for far cheaper than what the UK spends defending it.
