If fact checking corrects errors then they should be corrected and it keeps the topic on track instead of what the heck anything goes as long as it the spoken word.

I can understand that it good PR to let trump go unhinged and rattle away but a debate is a controlled discussion. IF Trump cannot control himself then so be it.

If you cannot control the discussion , it is no long a debate but a platform for each side to repeat the usual. So its not a debate just a platform to present your position.
