Colbert explains that he was supposed to have James Talarico on his show but CBS forbade him from having James on . The told him they didnt even want him talking about it. So what does Colbert do? He talks about it and has James on his show but broadcasts it only on youtube, not over the air.

CBS and its right wing mission is scared to death of Trump and his minions because they are worried about losing Texas. Not sure if they will or wont but I do know they are scared.

Colbert has a contract to perform a comedy show, and Talarico isn't a comedian or the least bit funny.

The network doesn't want people tuning out when the program doesn't deliver what is promised to the viewer.

Yes, there is a FCC rule, called the Equal Time Rule, CBS didn't want to violate the law.....but lawless Colbert and the Demafascsit don't care about the law.

James Talarico is unfit for office if he went along with Colbert attempt to violate Federal law

There are no laws for equal access on talk shows or comedy shows. Feel free to demand equal time for drive time conservative talk radio which also doesnt have to have equal access.

47 U.S.C. § 315)

If any licensee shall permit any person who is a legally qualified candidate for any public office to use a broadcasting station, he shall afford equal opportunities to all other such candidates for that office in the use of such broadcasting station

Sorry, there is no exception for Colbert or any other dembot show.

radio does have to provide equal time under section 315 of the FCC rule....that's not the same as this law. Feel free to show us where any drive time conservative talk show hasn't done that......https://www.fcc.gov/sites/default/files/political_programming_fact_sheet.pdf

Youre wrong there pal. Ask anyone.

The Fairness Doctrine was eliminated in 1987. The FCC’s equal time rule (47 U.S.C. § 315) only applies to legally qualified candidates appearing on broadcast stations. It explicitly exempts bona fide newscasts, news interviews, documentaries, and on-the-spot news events.

Colbert and The View and a whole bunch are exempted because they are not bona fide newscasts.

Yea, everything is Trump’s fault.

It’s a lame ass attempt for a ratings boost, since his ratings are in the dumpster.

I thought CBS was a privately owned company?

Why is it my business what shows they put on the air or what guests they have on the show?

Isn't Colbert their employee?
It is now Zionist owned and operated.

Equal time would be Crockett. We are in the primaries currently.

I would love to see Colbert interview Paxton though.

Look it up yourself. He is exempted. FCC chairman recently said maybe they should no longer be exempted himself which proves that he is exempted. Look it up dude.

They said they can apply the exemption on a case by case basis. Meaning they think they can use the FCC to punish their political enemies.

I did look it up, hence why I was able to link you to the law....and no, Colbert isn't exempt

Why are you scared of the equal time rule?

When it only applies to the people this administration hates.
It actually applies to everyone

It’s just prior admins like that of Obama and xiden didn’t enforce it and allowed folks like Colbert to violate it and spread misinformation and propaganda
