Carville nails it again

Pretty ironic don't you think??
It is the Democratic Party that allowed their fringe to take over, not the Republicans.
Hilarious.
LOL. Sure. Jordan, Gohmert, Brooks, Gaetz, Cawthorne, Gosar, Scalise, MTG, Boebert.....Trump. Yeah, the Republican party hasn't allowed the fringe to take over. :auiqs.jpg:

I've always believed that the best approach is to let the opponent hang themselves with their own words.

That requires engagement, and you can't engage with someone whose defenses are up because of the constant attacks. Then, you're actually in the "arena of ideas". If you lose, you lose. But just handing them the victory sure doesn't seem like a good idea.

Obviously that can't happen on an internet message board. But when you're face to face with someone, especially in front of people, that's different.
That is true. But this is no different than people sitting around the kitchen table discussing the world's problems each to the degree they want to. Paralleling all of the social justice victories is an insidious movement to tyranny with it.

Of course you do lol. Stupid people believe anything. For instance you didn't believe that boy rapped that girl in the school restroom despite the guilty conviction and confession.

You are trying to make sense to literally the least intelligent person that you are ever likely to encounter.

Not only are you massively ignorant about history in general you dream up recent history as you go.

People screamed racism at Trump all the time every day and all over the media.

The reason it failed was because the average person is smarter than you and knows that the accusation is a lie.

Immature and uneducated pieces of shit like you drop the racist accusation all the time without evidence and the attempt to win arguments with cheap lies is failing.

Sucks to be you but those are facts

James Carville continues to try to help his party. The latest: Don't wrestle with pigs - you only get dirty, and the pig likes it:

Complaining about these people, demanding insincere apologies and empty condemnations, only emboldens people like this, and those who follow them. It raises them. How do people NOT know this?

Stop feeding them.

Yep, nailed it. The entire point of these morons leading the GOP publicity parade is to take the discussion away from the issues and away from voting rights.

He's a carnival barker. He's on whatever side gets him the most publicity.
He is the head of the Republican party..whether you like it or not.
Lemming ON! :)
Name me a single politician that doesn't act like a carnival barker. One.
Name me a single politician that hasn't changed their position, even multiple times, to how the public currently thinks.
Trump is...oh... I would say 40% as bad as the left made him out to be.
His primary problem was his horrible communication methods, his ego and inability to stop himself from rambling and ranting.
Policy-wise. He was actually not that bad. But policy is not at all what the left are interested in.

He had no policy initiatives. He wasn't smart enough. Wasn't cogent enough. Wasn't interested enough to understand or be bothered with policy.
Every "policy" initiative in his administration was someone else's idea. He was liar. A cheat. A grifter. A corrupt con artist. Hell, even Ted Cruz would have made a better
President. His horrible communication methods were just a symptom. Of a man unfit for the office. He knew how to be a reality TV game show host. He thought he
could run the country that way. He was wrong.

Yeah... and Biden is so much better in all these aspects.... :eusa_eh:

It looks like, in context, they're not the fringe.

Turns out this is what the party appears to be.
Really?
There is no party anymore either side.
On the left you have the corporate Dems, Pelosi and crowd... who do absolutely whatever the corporate/investor cash tell them to do. And the whacked out fringe regressives.
On the right you have the corporate Reps, McConnel and crown...who do absolutely whatever the corporate/investor cash tell them to do. And the whacked out fringe "hateeverythingers"

In the end... it is all bad.
Year after year for the past 40 years we keep getting the short end of the stick. One side fucks us on one end, the other from the other end.

Kind of like a lynch mob, people get all caught up in the excitement & negative energy, allows for the venting of our personal frustration. And the best part no thinking or reason are necessary, just follow the mob...

I thought you opposed rhetoric like this?

Seems...

...inconsistent.

:)

Well, first you have to accurately identify what it is that the people (or, more importantly, voters) actually want.

The Democrats have been shooting themselves in the foot on the social/cultural issues for decades now, and they don't seem to realize that.

Worse, it's the social/cultural issues that gave us Trump in the first place. The Dems are just feeding the GOP exactly what it needs.

Yes, standing up against racism and homophobia, what is the left thinking.

You should never do the right thing on principle... you should always take a poll to see how popular your ideas are.

This is how Clinton and Carville governed and the only thing Clinton is remembered for today is getting impeached for lying about a blow job.

I see both ends constantly doing the same thing: Paying zero (0) attention to any negative effects of their actions as they advocate for something.

So somehow they've both forgotten that it's not the goal that is the problem, it's the way you go about reaching and accomplishing the goal.

It's not what you're trying to accomplish, it's the way you're trying to accomplish it. How is this so fucking incredibly difficult to understand?

Maybe existing within an ideological echo chamber robs people of that obvious notion.
