" Ultimate Standard Of Independence Is Individualism And Not Collectivism "

* Puritanical Meets Prurient Both Hailing The Natural Hierarchy *

Capitalism requires greed the same way fire needs oxygen. Economics, which began as a moral philosophy that dealt with how individuals live their lives, has since morphed into a pseudo-science designed to promote monopolized greed and market it as human nature.

Capitalism or Human Greed? | NEW POINT de VIEW
So you are confirming that your position against capitalism is based on a moral outrage about greed , which has a similar parallel with a position against pornography based on moral outrage about lust .

The left fails due to incompetence of economic realism and not because of capitalism , because capitalism expects that the religion of secular humanism , as it does with all other religions for socialism and communism , to own up to its ideals through private charity and not by the myopia of totalitarians seeking a uniform fetish for its sanctimonious institutions - CDZ - Why Have Socialists Not Privatized The Socialist Ideals ? .

The religion of secular humanism promotes labor over utility and derides accountability for the supply of labor relative with the demand for labor .

The left wing dream of management by bureaucracy is about retaining micromanagement heirarchies with pugnacious political clout rather than by individual opportunity and accountability to markets .

Neoclassical economics uses the utility theory of value, which states that the value of a good is determined by the marginal utility experienced by the user. This is one of the main distinguishing factors between neoclassical economics and other earlier economic theories, such as Classical and Marxian, which use the labor theory of value that value is determined by the labor required for production [16]

So, whom decides what "each"s "abilities" are, or should be?
Whom decides what "each"s "needs" are ?
who_or_whom.png

Social organizations whose decisions are not based on ability to pay.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_...ch_according_to_his_needs#Debates_on_the_idea

"Marx delineated the specific conditions under which such a creed would be applicable—a society where technology and social organization had substantially eliminated the need for physical labor in the production of things, where 'labor has become not only a means of life but life's prime want'.[17]

"Marx explained his belief that, in such a society, each person would be motivated to work for the good of society despite the absence of a social mechanism compelling them to work, because work would have become a pleasurable and creative activity."

Do you see how the profit motive interferes with "a society where technology and social organization (have) substantially eliminated the need for physical labor in the production of things"?

There is no "free lunch".
However, thieves such as yourself think they are entitled to the labor and produce of others whom are more resourceful, ambitious and less lazy.
Capitalism doesn't exist without a "free lunch", but ignorant nationalists (like you) are too timid to notice:

Other People’s Money (Published 2008)

"'Free Lunch' consists of 26 chapters, each a case study of a corporation enriching itself through lax or solicitous government: beggar-thy-neighbor state and local tax breaks to lure businesses, government subsidies for sports stadium construction, electricity deregulation and so on."

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs - Wikipedia

According to your profile page here, you are about 73 years old and spent you lifetime;
"A white male recently "retired" afte(r) working 44 years in assorted minimum wage level jobs."

During those decades you showed neither ambition nor gumption to improve your job skills and employ-ability to earn more*, nor it would seem bothered to contribute more to "society". Bottom-line you were a parasitic wealth taker (greedy), whom provided no positive value to society, yet you expect others to do so. ...
... typical of most deadwood parasites we are expected to tolerate and let continue to exist ...

"profit motive" means an operation is operating at a means that covers costs and produces enough excess to allow for growth~expansion. This is the opposite of "deficit motive" where costs are not met and further expense of non-productive nature is incurred ~ placing a burden upon those of the future whom have to "pay for" that deficit~debt.

Would seem, again, you advocate personal greed (for yourself) to attain what you have not earned, are not worth, and do not deserve; at the expense to be paid by other current and future citizens, taxpayers, voters, etc.

Please tell us why you should continue to live and exist at the expense and sufferance of the rest of use, considering you are non-productive deadwood and a burden upon society ????

In the past century of existence of socialist/communist systems, your sort would likely have been purged ~ sent to a gulag; so why do you fail to appreciate how "capitalism" allows for your worthless ass to continue to exist. ???

* Would seem a lifetime of minimum wage level jobs was more than you are worth or deserved!

here is no theory to discuss with Socialist economics. Hand your money to the government and they will take care of you. Class dismissed, everyone gets an 'A'.
Do you find it difficult to understand production without profit?

Socialist economics - Wikipedia

"Socialist economics comprises the economic theories, practices and norms of hypothetical and existing socialist economic systems.[1] A socialist economic system is characterized by social ownership and operation of the means of production[2][3][4][5][6][7] that may take the form of autonomous cooperatives or direct public ownership wherein production is carried out directly for use rather than for profit."

Fascism is STATISM. Capitalism is the OPPOSITE of Statism. Capitalism is people, working for other people for a wage. If they don't
Statism - Wikipedia

"In political science, statism is the doctrine that the political authority of the state is legitimate to some degree.[1][2][3] This may include economic and social policy, especially in regard to taxation and the means of production.[1][2"

Are you a Statist or a Anarchist?

More and more I am an anarchist, the opposite of statist.

My outrage against greed has more to do with efficiency than morality.
Capitalism, with its fetish for monopoly, generates fortunes for a few by reducing output and raising price:

"Figure 1. The Allocative Inefficiency of Monopoly. Allocative Efficiency requires production at Qe where P = MC. A monopoly will produce less output and sell at a higher price to maximize profit at Qm and Pm. Thus, monopolies don’t produce enough output to be allocatively efficient."

Well, there's certainly no morality in your outrage, so, run with what ya' got.

Is that why communism reduced output.......greed?
Yup!

Along with inequality, inefficiency, ignorance, stupidity, and criminality*.
These are the classic failings of socialism/communism as shown for the past century worth of trying to implement such.

* All traits we see from the author of this thread/OP.
