When a news organization edits, redacts, or manipulates coverage of an event to effect a desired outcome, that is corrupt. CBS did this when its 60 minutes interviewed Kamala Harris. CBS is not alone in doing this but it lessens their credibility as an impartial news organization. Hence, by technical definition, it has been corrupted.
