A shooting in Toronto that produced so many bullet shells police ran out of evidence tags to mark them with is the latest destructive incident linked to a prenatal sex reveal celebration, one of which was blamed for sparking a more than 8,600-acre wildfire in California on Saturday.

Police were first called to an after-hours club in Etobicoke's New Toronto neighbourhood around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning for reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, they determined that more than 80 shots had been fired outside the venue. One man was found suffering from gunshot wounds and transported to hospital in serious but not life-threatening condition.

Five people have been found dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide at a home in a city near Toronto, Canada.

Police received numerous reports of gunshots coming from the home in Oshawa, and heard more gunshots when they arrived on the scene at about 01:20 EST (05:20 BST).

When they entered the house, they found five people dead, including the suspect and two minors.

Again..gun control measures don't prevent people from buying guns and using them at inappropriate times in an unsafe manner...kind of like DUI laws don't stop some people from driving drunk.

Now your getting it..gun control laws are meant to make it harder for irresponsible and unqulified peope from just walking into a store and buying one. If theose people want a gun they have to get it off the street illegally. Responsible gun owners, like myself, have no problem with current laws or any that are proposed.

But you dont count these in the states ? Why are you counting them in Canada ?

I don't count them as mass public shootings in the states, but always include them when I state the gun murder number...10,265 in the state. You guys include them in your mass public shooting totals because otherwise, you wouldn't have enough to scare people into gun control....in the U.S. we had 10 mass public shootings in 2019....in a country of over 330 million people. You guys then tell us it is actually hundreds of mass public shootings by including all the gang and criminal violence.....two different gun crime problems, but only one, mass public shootings, scare people enough to give in to your gun control demands.

I bring these up because both in the U.S. and Canada, it is criminals killing criminals that make up 99% of all gun murder. Gun control does not stop common criminals from getting illegal guns either here in the U.S. or even in Canada.

Man shot in Toronto......gun control working again....

TORONTO -- Investigators have identified a 26-year-old man who was pronounced dead in the parking lot of a west-end Toronto Walmart on Thursday after being shot.

Emergency crews were called to the area of St. Clair and Mould avenues, near Runnymede Road, around 1:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.
