Democrats keep their base poor so that the democrats can tell the poor minorities they are here to help and protect them

The only way politics can cure the Poor is to essentially draft them into a factory style corps or other alleged job corps and train them in the essential market skills. But they never tried that I think. Perhaps that was the idea of the Job Corps that we never speak of today.
