Possibly Mark Carney but he's dull as dishwasher. But it'll just be for a few months.

I was thinking there might be an immediate resignation and interim party leader. It's a moot point now that that won't be happening. Until he announced it today, I wasn't convinced there was any substance to the idea of Carney as interested in running for the job. I thought it might be baseless media speculation. I am old enough to recall when the media were so sure that Frank McKenna would be Paul Martin's successor, but eventually he came out and said he didn't want the job after Martin lost an election and quit.

It's just what I read, I don't know if it's just media speculation or not. Time will tell.

Come to Ontario and her police state lead by conservative Dougie Ford and his police unions. We lack leadership across Canada at all levels of government, this is the equivalent of the U.S districts which have bad leadership on both sides of the aisle also. I will give America credit for at least changing course when their backs are against the wall but it wasn't easy and only because Trump is a force of nature. We don't have the Rand Pauls, Musks, Viveks or the like in Canada, they leave (as many us had wished we had left when we had the chance), we thus will fail eventually, it is inevitable really. It's what centralized systems produce and land. America has been taking our best talent for decades, the most creative minds and ambitious citizens. We are left with, well, the aforementioned police state their fellow boot lickers and the like. In time, from Florida to Alaska you may one day have the same unless you demand accountability.
