Possibly Mark Carney but he's dull as dishwasher. But it'll just be for a few months.
I was thinking there might be an immediate resignation and interim party leader. It's a moot point now that that won't be happening. Until he announced it today, I wasn't convinced there was any substance to the idea of Carney as interested in running for the job. I thought it might be baseless media speculation. I am old enough to recall when the media were so sure that Frank McKenna would be Paul Martin's successor, but eventually he came out and said he didn't want the job after Martin lost an election and quit.
