The vice president doesn't make policy. Their role is only as big as the president will allow. You can certainly fight for certain policies, etc, but they can't make executive orders, change policies or nominate judges, or pretty much anything. They're not the president. Harris was given the job of talking to and negotiating with the countries where the migrants were coming from and finding out the root cause of the mass exodus. She was never "in charge" of the freaking border lol

Like, are you for the wall?, are you for fracking? or how to get grocery prices down? I dare you to post one of her own ideas. They are also the president of the senate, but more importantly to do what the president ask them to do. In Harris case she was the “last person in the room” for all major decisions and also given the task of maintaining our southern border
