Zone1 Can you find the Flaw in Atheist Speaker Christopher Hitchens' Logic Here.

Hichens claims that mankind has roughly been around for 200,000 years. He fails to mention how the first human came into existence.

He hopes we'll believe that two non-humans gave birth to the first human but fails to mention how that first human was able to reproduce.

Feel free to NOT address it.
Your interpretations of OT passages are self serving. You aren't looking for understanding. You are looking for gotchas. Very similar to what Pharisees did with Jesus. If you think you have a gotcha moment, I suggest you check with google first before wasting my time.

A tiny number of bones from extinct species of apes aren't proof of 'evolution', and you're right, many mutations of the exact same types, and of both sexes, at the same time is just ridiculously improbable, not to mentions it take over a hundred of them each at the same time to sustain reproduction and grow over time and avoid extinction. It's absurd.

Your interpretations of OT passages are self serving. You aren't looking for understanding. You are looking for confirmation.

It is your understanding of evolution that is absurd.

So the prophets who came before were wrong? How could that be if God sent them?
Do you think this is a gotcha moment? The real question is why would you need a gotcha moment?

Now... do you believe the gospels recorded that Jesus corrected religious misconceptions or not?

Incorrect. They make sense. You don't want them to make sense. It would ruin your party.

Ancient Israelites crafted narratives of historical events to teach lessons about the covenant, obedience, justice and their relationship with God. Try googling it.

Great questions but I'll let you answer mine first.

Your interpretations are just that, interpretations. They may accurate, they may be fantasy.

Actually it should be self evident that Jesus corrected religious misconceptions. It's all throughout the gospels. You could probably even google it and get a list of things Jesus corrected. But I don't think any of them will support your gotcha moment.

So which prophets do you believe Jesus was correcting?

Did you ask google if ancient Israelites crafted narratives of historical events to teach lessons about the covenant, obedience, justice and their relationship with God?

Because that's not just my belief. That's reality. Maybe stop reading ancient texts like you attended Westboro Baptist University.
