Can Trump Be Trusted With Social Security?

Sorry to hear about your health. Hope you’re doing well today
Had liver failure but got a transplant after over 2 years waiting. Some unrelated health issues later on were pretty rough, but my VA doctor told me last week that my blood tests were perfect and even lowered one of my anti-rejection meds. Thank you so much for asking! These past 5 years have not been fun.

When I applied for my retirement at 62, they asked if I was disabled and if I want to apply for SSDI. Initially I was turned down and it took over a year and a half for them to grant me the disability. It increased my benefit by over $600 a month, so I received back pay for well over a year.
That is what I should have done. I was not aware that I could still receive a reduced benefit during the waiting period.

Republican have never proposed cuts to Medicare or SS. Democrats have cut Medicare repeatedly. You need to vote for Republicans and not for Democrats based on their lies.
Link to Medicare cuts. Are you talking about Medicare Advantage?

Trump came right out & said it. Anyone who trusts the guy & his goon squad in Congress who tried to take healthcare away from millions on this issue is delusional.

Or the guy who stole nuke secrets, plotted a coup & committed rape either.
The guy who had nuke secrets and kept them secured, unlike the other guy who had secret material he was never entitled to have (literally stolen) and kept them in his unlocked garage.

Chuckie Schumer and Nasty Pelosi pulled off a successful coup against Biden, or did you forget?

Who took away anyone's healthcare?

You really need to research your posts more.

If money doesn't come in the door, then you have to ask, What the neck did you do wrong, and how can you correct it?

Likely marketing, grand opening, perks, entertainment venue, service quality or something of the sort.
It's like this, Trump was one of four who filed for BK in Atlantic City, a fifth voluntarily closed their doors.

The reason it happened was many other states started opening new casinos up and down the east and gulf coasts, suddenly Atlantic City lost their exclusive as an east coast gambling go to place.

But the media never told you that, did they?

God Bless you and yours. I know that isn't easy. Lost my first wife with diabetes and that was hell. I can't imagine.

The government cannot repay the loan without adding to the national debt. Something has to give or there will be no SSI for anyone.

That is tough, I lost a close friend many years back to liver failure, he died waiting for a transplant.

I'm glad to hear you are doing better today.

I am still trying to get accustomed to retirement, 40+ years of working continuously and it's just really weird not having people depending on me every day.

When I retired, I arranged my life so I could get by on my SS. My monthly expenses are minuscule- electricity, garbage, phone and internet. I qualify for all the low-income senior citizen stuff on property taxes and health care, so in a weird way I might actually be better off without the SSDI benefit!
