Both of my brothers were forced to pay into SS and also Medicare. Both died and did not use either program. My sister also died and did not pay a penny for SS or Medicare. She got paid though.

Half of it, is not taxed. The portion your employer contributes towards your social security is not taxed....

We pay income tax on our social security payroll tax. The Company match that the employer contributes, is a tax deduction for the employer, so income tax is never paid on the company contribution.
