ICE has targeted people who haven't committed or been accused of committing any crimes by a super majority (over 70%)
Few of the people Ice is picking up are convicted criminals. That's because Trump is diverting ICE to driving up numbers, and not to catching criminals.

When I got activated to preserve the peace in a major city, the assholes (off duty police and firemen on strike) were shooting from buildings, harassing the National Guard that were manning the fire trucks. We only stayed a week but were remained on alert in case we had to return, after standing down at the end of that week. I didn't regard that as an insurrection, though I spent all the time, with a loaded m16, loaded .45, extra ammo pouches carried on my LBE, and rode/drove to the scenes of disturbance on military jeeps with m60 machine gun mounted and a belt laying in the feed tray while scanning the building, once on site, which magically calmed all situations, without a shot being fired or an arrest made. during that curfewed, martial law activation time period. Good duty, except for sleeping in an un-airconditioned airplane hanger during the middle of summer in the midsouth. The unit I was with was the General's sh#tkickers, the only unit with ammo or loaded weapons out of the 3,000 troops sent.
We were cost efficient. We turned in far more ammo of every caliber, than were ever issued.
