True. But some people just can't accept it. It would mean that there is a higher power that they are responsible to. They would rather die than admit it. Unfortunately, they will get their wish. Eternal separation from God.

Every theory that atheist scientists have come with leave several questions unanswered. For instance, Hawking claimed that the universe created itself because gravity exists. Now, where did gravity come from? No matter what theory they come up with, they cannot answer the question of who or what caused it all to happen. Any atheist scientist who is looking for a purely materialistic explanation is doomed to be disappointed. Because they are looking in the wrong place.

Some people simply want to be their own god. There is no such thing as an atheist, according to the Bible. There are only those who accept the truth, and those who reject it; because they love their sin more than their Creator. It's the sin of pride. They know that God is real, but they refuse to humble themselves and ask God to forgive them. Pride is the original sin that caused the downfall of Lucifer. Every other sin is the result of pride.
