Can something create itself?

Impossible. It violates the law of cause and effect. If something physical exists, it was caused to exist.
We don't know that...something has to of always been for there to be anything...

now I'm sounding like Yoda...lol

Correct. Something or someone was first that did not need a creator because they have always been. That's why the illogic of the "Who created the creator" rhetorical-question is easily refuted.
And by using that argument, they agree that there IS a Creator. LOL!

I have yet to have an atheist answer this question when it's part of a debate about evolution vs Creation. They claim to revere science, which agrees that it is indeed impossible for something to create itself. It violates the law of causality. They cannot answer yes to this question, because they will look like a fool. They cannot answer no, because it lends credence to the argument that the universe was created. Simple logic. It can't create itself, so it had to have been created. Why are atheist so afraid of such a simple truth?
Your logic fails.

Who created the God that you worship?
God was not created. He has always existed. Why do people keep asking such a stupid question?

The universe always existed.
A physical impossibility. If the universe has always existed, there would be no available energy.

Why? Is it because the universe began with a finite amount of energy that is being exhausted?
Correct. Entropy is king.

Both science and logic point to a creator.

Clones? Am I missing the point? I probably am.[

You are correct. But that something would have to be non physical. Nothing physical can be eternal. Even a black hole will eventually boil away to nothing.

Ahhh eternal. This is very true! The only permanence is impermanence.

Hopefully we will get the answers one day...it would suck if we just all died with no answer...

as I stated in the other thread:
...the anti-evolutionist say it's impossible for a single cell to just ''appear'' from ''nothing''
...but they want us to believe MILLIONS of cells organized into a complicated being can just ''appear'' from ''nothing''!!!
ludicrous

Both science and logic point to a creator.
True. But some people just can't accept it. It would mean that there is a higher power that they are responsible to. They would rather die than admit it. Unfortunately, they will get their wish. Eternal separation from God.

We already have the answers. They're in the Bible. Not being a smart ass. I truly believe that. I've always thought you were a decent person. I hope and pray that you come to know Christ as your Savior. If you don't already know Him, what is holding you back? The Bible tells us that God reveals Himself to those who diligently seek Him. Are you looking? I mean really looking.

Maybe something can just always be...completely void of creation...not hard to except...
Impossible. It violates the law of cause and effect. If something physical exists, it was caused to exist.

That's only true in the confines of a limited intellect that can't accept that there may be terms of existence that are beyond its ken.

So the claim "if X exists, then some Y must have created it" is not proven.

Take it easy...you misunderstand my comment...Of course the Bible holds answers but not every question is asked in the Bible either....there are many questions I would like answered that are not addressed in the Bible...

Sorry about that. My memory is not what it used to be, and I'm really tired. Major brain fart on my part.

Well. Looking at the avatar this one is probably best

Funny. I'm stealing that one for my files.

Because you keep providing a stupid answer.
How was my answer stupid? Be specific.

Sad, yet not surprising it needs to be explained to you, but that statement is a direct contradiction of what you said in your title.
This thread is about the PHYSICAL universe. The question assumes that we were talking about our physical reality. God is not physical. He is not subject to the physical laws of the universe. He is eternal. The beginning and the end. There is no contradiction.
