We get the politicians we deserve.

We have shitty self centered politicians because Americans are shitty self centered people.

Compared to what?

My take is that America historically has been a force for good for over a century and that even today America is a good influence on the world in general. The reason for this is that Americans are good people. Sure, there are some Americans that do bad things but that's why America has prisons that more often than not incarcerate bad people.

America is not perfect, but perfection is the enemy of the good. America is a good country and its people are good. America is ruled by a good government. My concern there is the fact that we can do better and have great leaders. Some of our leaders are great but we could sure use more.

And it's going to happen whether you want it to or not

The US population is increasing while the White population is decreasing. The vast majority of legal immigrants are non-White. For illegal aliens it's even more non-White. This is not an accident, but rather a predictable result of our immigration and border security policies. White people disproportionately pay for welfare and other social services while non-Whites disproportionately use welfare and other social services. So while White people struggle to financially support families (leading many to have few or no children) we pay for non-Whites to breed like rabbits. White people are absolutely being replaced by people who see race.
