Maybe Trump can pass an Executive Order limiting pardons effective only on convicted criminals and non-family members who are not guilty of certain heinous crimes. The intent of the pardon was to right obvious injustices, not to get vile filth off scott free.

The next President can just revoke that executive Order.

It would only apply to Trump.

Yeah but the democrats never do the right thing. At first I was against changing the constitution but there have been certain events like this that have changed my mind.


It isn't all that different in the Bible. In the Old Testament they got stoned to death for sinning, but Christ's sacrifice on the cross changed that. So my point being that sometimes rules need to be changed.

I don't think so and unfortunately it's not a good idea. That doesn't mean it won't be abused as a power as we are seeing now.
