Sorry bout that,

1. Camp Mystic, was wiped out, there is fault in thier name, Camp Mystic, might as well been, * Camp Evil Intent *, it harmed these children, if brought the wrath of G-D to them, which they didnt see that coming, just girls romping around.
2. Its easy to sit there and claim it was not G-D.
3. This was a huge amout of rain, in a short period of time, creating a 26' wall of water rushing down the river, gobbling up anything at its shores at 4 am.
4. Its time to look at our mistakes, Camp Mystic was wiped out and they should never come back.
5. Choose the names of our place of leisure better, lets stop making G-D mad, he will put a stop to it.
6. We need to stop putting our children in dangerous places, stop sending our children to Camp Evil.
7. Call it, G-D's Grace Place.

Having lived in Texas myself, many of the riverbed type sites for fishing and camping might look like a small stream one minute, but with any rain at all can start flooding quickly. And significant rain will bring on just what took place there. Its certainly a risk you take when you go there to camp out, have to be really mindful and careful.

And if they had done flood management it would never have happened. But doing that, in Texas, would be considered blasmethy.

Sorry bout that,

1. This amount of water can only be attributed as, An Act Of G-D.
2. The amount of destruction was hideous, we must learn to identify that, it was like a hurricane hitting, over two hundred miles from the coast.
3. Total analyzation.
4. Nothing could survive that.
5. Live stock, wildlife, birds in trees.

Oh FFS now it's God's fault?

Hello, flood area well known for flash floods during heavy rains. All these camps along the river were asleep at the wheel. There was plenty of advance warning put out by the NWS but the camp leaders were not paying attention and got caught in a massive flash flood.

Stupidity is at fault, at the camp level, at some camps. Many camps who were paying attention did their duty and evacuated to high ground. Hundreds in each camp were saved and are safe and sound.

But it could have been severely mitigated.

The Gimp of Texas didn't do his job.

Sadly for those who perished as a result of it.

All we can do now is hope that Texans learn from this and do better going forward.
That's an ongoing mantra. "We need to make sure this never happens again." Rinse and repeat.

Sorry bout that,

1. It will happen again, and then again, it will repeat over and over, its how G-D works, you just cant beat G-D.
2. Change the name of that Camp, its offensive to me, and to my G-D.
3. Just telling all the truth.
