'Calypso' Franklin (Roosevelt)

Do we need any more evidence on FDR's impact on the world, on history, on the American people than FDR's impact on Chic? She doesn't seem to spend much time on presidents Buchanan or Arthur or even Lincoln but does devote time to FDR. That was one of the most important periods in American history and the more time she spends researching history tidbits on FDR the better for all. But all those bits on FDR are well known to historians and they still rate FDR....

"Do we need any more evidence on FDR's impact ....blah blah blah...."

Gee....you aren't one of those FDR-apologists who makes every attempt to shut off the truth about the guy......are you?

First of all......you've admitted that everything I've revealed is factual.
And, secondly......
...the best is yet to come.

Hold tight....and keep your hands inside the ride at all times.
Facts matter not...since all those wonderful statists historians rate FDR the greatest POTUS.

CRAZY!!!

FActs of course separate the loons like Gipper from those who live in reality.

One of my favorite stories of FDR is the second bonus confrontation, this time with FDR the president. Instead of sending MacArthur to rout the bonus vets, even killing a couple, FDR sends Eleanor down, alone, to talk with the vets. After some tea drinking and song singing the vets leave. Think of how that story could be changed by Fox News or even a poster to: "Cowardly FDR sends wife to confront communists, communists pretending to be vets. Eleanor survives as FDR sits in White House, safe and secure."

One of the most illustrative tales, identifying his megalomania, is this one:

‘Roosevelt imagined he could fix the world gold price from his bedroom.

Morgenthau reported that when he visited Roosevelt on Friday, November 3, he suggested a 10- or 15-cent rise from the previous day, and Roosevelt decided on a 21-cent rise. Morgenthau asked the rationale for 21 cents, and Roosevelt is reported to have replied that “three times seven” is a lucky number.

Raymond Moley, who became an opponent of the New Deal after being a part of it, remarked, “Roosevelt gravely marred his image as a responsible statesman, by the early-morning bedside guesses with Morgenthau about what the price of gold was to be ‘that day.’”’ http://www.fff.org/freedom/fd0906e.asp

Bet you can't deny that fact, either.....

As you can see....we're working toward bigger and bigger lies by Roosevelt....
And fibbing about writing the Haitian constitution was just one of links Franklin the First had with Haiti.
The methodology of voodoo was another.

To further understand Calypso Franklin one must be clear about his use of "syncretization," joining things that actually have no basis for being joined; e.g., vegetarians for meat, or 'kill a commie for Christ.'

And speaking of Christ....take the syncretization of voodoo with Christianity for example.

6. African descendants in the New World brought with them their indigenous West African religions, most prominent, voodoo. It not only survived, but thrived in Haiti...whose constitution was 'written' by Calypso Franklin, and the slave states of the American South. The religion is not monotheist, but its adherents hid their various gods in the guise of Christian saints.

The slave owners in the West Indies feared the houngans (voodoo priests), and manbos, (priestesses), not just for their influence over the other slaves, but because they could administer poisons. So....attempts were made to stamp out the voodoo religion.

Instead, it went underground, simply by pretending that they were Christian: they made Christian figures or saints for each of the voodoo spirit gods, and used the Christian names for the loa, the voodoo gods.

a. There was Papa Legba, "In Haitian Vodou, Papa Legba is the loa(a god in the voodoo cult) who serves as the intermediary between the other loa and humanity. He stands at a spiritual crossroads and gives (or denies) permission to speak with the spirits of Guinee, and is believed to speak all human languages.

In Haiti, he is the great elocutioner. Legba facilitates communication, speech, and understanding."
Papa Legba - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

So...how did the slaves continue their worship of Legba?
Legba became syncretized, disguised as St. Peter....so it appeared as though the cultists were praying to St. Peter, when it was Legba in their prayers!

Clever, huh?

So, one can hide the true nature of one's worship by claiming it to be something that it isn't....

See where this is going?

It's in every history on FDR, and is well known. FDR said he was going to experiment in an attempt to reform the economy and he did. The experiment with gold did destroy Warren's theory and finally the price became fixed until it was changed by Nixon in 1971.

Spin…altering the truth without altering the facts.

"...he was going to experiment...."

So....since you cannot deny the fact that I've posted......you're going to try to spin it?

Great!

Now....do you think Obama should set the price of Apple stock....you know...as an 'experiment'?
That's the constitutional function of the President? Is that what your 'historians' told you?

Maybe Staples stock.....
"Staples Inc. slammed President Barack Obama for an unfair attack ... Obama responded: “I haven't looked at Staples stock lately or what the compensation of the CEO is, but I ..."

Wow...what you lap-dogs of socialism will try to slip by......

I'm agreeing with your facts, FDR experimented and many of the experiments involved the economy and this one was, the relationship of the gold price to inflation and deflation. My spin is from the history of the period and FDR's experiment with the price of gold, and your spin comes from where, Staples Obama-care, Apple stock, socialism, but nice try,

So....Calypso Franklin.... ".... his extraordinary capacity for prevarication" on view.....he used the same methods that Caribbean Voodoo used to hide his true worship!
The object of Frnklin's worship?

Let's leave this happy land, the West Indies, for a moment and see a different land, where fakery was perfected: Russia!

Let's review the Soviet machinations.....

7. In the early years after the Bolshevik Revolution, the communists used manipulations, such as the Potemkin Villages, to persuade the world how admirable and successful the revolution had been. One technique was to invite prominent American and British leftists to take carefully planned tours. And these ‘Potemkin Progressives,’ for the most part, behaved and thought just as they were meant to. Woodrow Wilson wouldn’t recognize the Bolshevik regime, nor would the contemporary British government (Churchill had famously told Lloyd George, ‘You might a well legalize sodomy…’)
Roosevelt, as one of his first performances in office, recognized Russia.

a. Lenin, and then Stalin, carefully arranged the tours so that these progressives would then go back to their countries and praise Soviet Russia, and have the citizens demand that Russia be recognized.

8. Not everyone was fooled. English journalist Malcolm Muggeridge took the tour in the early 30’s, and wrote about how gullible these Potemkin Progressives were.

“They are, unquestionably, one of the wonders of the age, that I shall treasure ‘til I die, as a blessed memory! The spectacle of them traveling, with radiant optimism through a famished countryside, wandering in happy bands about squalid overcrowded Soviet towns, listening with unshakable faith to the fatuous patter of carefully trained and indoctrinated guides, repeating like schoolchildren a multiplication table, the bogus statistics and mindless slogans endlessly intoned to them.

There, I would think, an earnest office-holder in some local branch of the League of Nations Union, there a godly Quaker who once had tea with Gandhi, there an inveigher against the Means Test and the Blasphemy Laws, there a staunch upholder of free speech and human rights, there an indomitable preventer of cruelty to animals; there scarred and worthy veterans of a hundred battles for truth, freedom and justice--all, all chanting the praises of Stalin and his Dictatorship of the Proletariat. It was as though a vegetarian society had come out with a passionate plea for cannibalism, or Hitler had been nominated posthumously for the Nobel Peace Prize."
Malcolm Muggeridge Quotes Author of Something Beautiful for God

"chanting the praises of Stalin and his Dictatorship of the Proletariat..." sounds deliciously like Calypso Franklin.

a. Muggeridge was mystified by the naïveté of these progressives, the unbelievable credulity of these mostly university-educated ‘tourists’- and it astonished even the Soviet officials! “These fellow passengers provide my first experience of the progressive elites from all over the world, who attached themselves to the Soviet regime, resolved to believe anything they were told!

"...resolved to believe anything they were told!" There's an echo of Roosevelt, again.

b. Yuri Bezmenov, Soviet journalist, recounted, no matter how outrageous the line of Soviet propaganda they fed them, they swallowed it!

So.....Roosevelt was a liar who believed greater liars!

So.....let's see....to review:
a. We've seen that Roosevelt was a master liar.

b. We've seen that the slaves in the West Indies use a method called 'syncretization,' pretending that the saints of Christianity were the objects of their worship...when it was the gods of VooDoo to whom they bent their knees...

c. And we saw the misrepresentation programs of the Soviets, the Potemkin Villages, ...one wonders if they were even necessary, what with the gullibility of the Progressives.

Let's go a little further just to show how Franklin Roosevelt turned his back on the history and traditions of America, and hid the anti-religion doctrines of Marxism.....

9. The very central doctrine of communism is atheism.
Everyone knows that...."In 1917 a new state came into existence, the Soviet Union, whose premises were a radical departure from those of previous societies... the wave of approval that went through Western intellectual circles in the 1920s and 30s about the new society being built in the Soviet Union was that man himself was to somehow be changed.

What they failed to take into account was that the concept of the creation of a new man necessitates atheism, the rejection of God, as state policy. In order to create a new man, man's nature must be changeable. Therefore, God's creation of man with an immutable nature must be invalid." https://www.hillsdale.edu/news/imprimis/archive/issue.asp?year=1978&month=09

a. Every Leftist is, essentially, a Marxist…even though most eschew the title since the fall of the Soviet Union. Even so, Left-wing ideas are predicated on Marx’s materialist view. Philosophically, the term implies that only material things are real. Therefore, emotions, such as love, are no more than chemistry. And it suggests that it is only genes and environment that determine our actions, and free will plays no role. And, of course, God and religious beliefs are nonsense.
Dennis Prager

Of course, this view is the very opposite of the men who founded America. In order for Roosevelt to inject socialism, he had to embrace Soviet beliefs.

b. " As one of his friends later recalled, "Vladimir Ilych Ulyanov (Lenin) had the courage to come out and say openly that famine would have numerous positive results...Famine, he explained....would bring about the next stage more rapidly, and usher in socialism, the stage that necessarily followed capitalism. Famine would also destroy faith, not only in the tsar, but in God, too."
The Black Book of Communism, p.123-124.

c.John Dewey wrote of how impressed he was with the restoration of Russian churches…all the while, under Lenin and Stalin, the demolition of churches was going on! Before the revolution there were 657 churches in Moscow, but some 46 by the ‘70’s.
Paul Kengor,
Dr. Paul Kengor,"Dupes: How America's Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century"

Does this seem like a good match for America?
Roosevelt thought it was.

Time to tie up the loose ends.

Roosevelt used the same deception that the voodoo worshipers of the Caribbean used hide their gods.

He told America that Soviet Russia was a religion-worshipping nation, just as America was.

By that syncretization.....he made certain that communism found a comfortable home in America.

It is more than ironic that during Roosevelt's time, a former communist, Arthur Koester, wrote a best seller about what communism actually is.
Koestler called his book "The God That Failed"

So...Calypso Franklin, the prevaricator, syncretized his worship of Stalin and totalitarian governance in the same way that West African slaves hid their worship of Voodoo......

10 'A more sinister ' proximate cause of our numbness when it come to Soviet crime' is the lies that Franklin Roosevelt told the public in support of Stalin.
Loy Henderson, State Department Russian expert of the time said: "Russia does not fight for the same ideals as the United States."

Roosevelt swore to the American public the exact opposite: he declared that Stalin fought for the same ideals!

September 30, 1941, FDR claimed that there was freedom of religion in the USSR. "The claim that Stalin's Russia allowed religious freedom was the first step in a massive pro-Soviet campaign that the White House coordinated for the duration of the war."
"Caught between Roosevelt and Stalin: America's Ambassadors to Moscow," by Dennis J. Dunn, p. 137

11. The following analysis of Dennis J. Dunn's "Caught Between Roosevelt & Stalin: America's Ambassadors to Moscow."

"Adopting the "pseudoprofound theory of convergence," Rooseveltians claimed that the Soviet Union "was moving ineluctably toward democracy" (pp. 3-4). The author alleges that "moral relativism" prompted Roosevelt to mislead the American public and ignore his foreign policy advisors in order to prove that Stalin was an evolving democrat, not "a genocidal megalomaniac guided by the higher power of revolutionary inevitability ..." (Dunn, p. 4, 6).

In contrast, "Traditionalists" rejected the theory of convergence. ... they viewed Stalin as "a murderer, a liar, and a vicious opponent of the United States and of pluralism generally." Imbued with "absolute morality," Traditionalists wanted Roosevelt to compel the Soviets to adopt democracy and "the minimum standards of moral behavior that were outlined in the world's principal religions and moral codes."

These pleas, however, went unheeded as Roosevelt remained intent on pursuing "his policy of uncritical friendship toward Stalin" (Dunn, pp. 8-9)."

Contrary to expert advice and the experience of his own eyes, the case of so very many Liberals......Roosevelt picked Joseph Stalin with whom to ally his nation.....

...to his everlasting ignominy.

It must have been a wonderful constitution. Haiti ended up doing so well. I wonder if FDR made vodoo the national religion. It's ironic that Hatian culture believed in zombies and FDR was practically a zombie when democrats lied to America about his health while they ran his empty suit for a 4th term.
