I absolutely, positively, guarantee you, gas prices would be higher if Trump wasn't president. The oil companies are F'ing us but not as bad as they normally would because they have a friend in Trump. He loves oil companies. I'm sure they pay him a lot for his support.

And Trump's argument that "we don't get our oil from Hormuz" is such a bad argument, he should be impeached just for making it.

We have excess oil in our storage, and we may have more use if more workers are employed. I don't pretend Trump did it. Are you telling me Trump plans every mission? Where do we sell our oil? We don't sell it to Americans. We sell it on the open market. Trump already told you, WE get rich when oil prices go up. So he already told you he's getting rich at your expense. Who's getting rich? I'm certainly not. The places I used to drive to aren't benefiting. I haven't been up north 3.5 hours each way since the war started and when I go, I'll hitch a ride with my brother or nephew. So I won't be driving into town every day to buy shit like I used to. It's called the Trump affect. Unintended consequenses.

Where do we buy our oil? The open market. So prices are sky high because 20% of the worlds oil supplies are being stopped. The people who get their oil from Hormuz, will now have to get it from the same place we get it. That's going to drive prices up.

And I'm sure Trump gets a piece of this too.
