Well, we knew this was coming and more. I live in a liberal stronghold and Kamala Obama Harris wants to force law firms to provide pro bono services so the criminals can escape justice.

(Reuters) - California's attorney general has personally asked several major law firms to provide pro bono services to unaccompanied immigrant children flooding the U.S. border with Mexico, a signal that California views the growing crisis as a humanitarian issue.

The move comes amid escalating political tension in the United States over how to deal with the thousands of children fleeing violence in their Central American homelands.

"We've convened a group of law firms to make sure these children, some of them as young as 8 years old, have access to due process," California Attorney General Kamala Harris said on Thursday.

She asked corporate lawyers for entertainment giants including the Walt Disney Co. and Warner Bros. Entertainment to do the same, he said, adding that most had agreed to help.

Isn't it an odd world in which we live. We provide foreign citizens access to our legal system and pay for their representation all the while, if not said directly, inferring it is a right. Yet, Obama targets and kills America citizens, not actually in a war zone and not actually a direct threat to anyone, and they are not afforded even a kangaroo court. And the really odd (sic) thing is that the left does not realize how incredibly destructive are their policies. Regardless of what the left will tell us almost to the person those at the border today are there because they heard it was easy to enter and easy to stay. Yes, they left third world crap holes but it was their crap hole. And considering what the liberal left says about America you would think people would be flocking to get the hell out. Oh right I did read record numbers were giving up citizenship.

So in their "goodness" the left has created a man made humanitarian disaster of epic proportions. Then when it is pointed out to them the disaster THEY created is blamed on someone else that just asks WTF is our end game.

I don't see anything wrong with people volunteering their services to help those who cannot afford lawyers. Our local Legal Aid asks lawyers to volunteer to help out people who practice in areas that LA does not operate or to fill in the overflow, has a day a year where people can call into consult with lawyers for free, etc. Our local courts are having problems finding lawyers who will even represent criminal clients for the measly amount of money they pay them for the time involved when the public defenders office cannot represent them due to conflicts (like if 6 people are in a fight, the PD can only represent 1 of them and the remaining 5 have to be farmed out to private counsel).

Access to legal services for poor people is a huge problem; not one easily or cheaply solved; and the current state is an embarrassment in a society that prides itself on rights and laws.

These kids are not the responsibility of the taxpayers of America. No way should they be here using a law that was put in the assist the victims of sex trafficing.

They should all be sent back to wherever the hell they came from.

Fact is most of these kids are coming here because their parents are breaking the law, they're irresponsible, and their countries are trying to pass off their problems onto us.
