In his plea, he is asking that the nation, through Trump and the State Department, participate in his fantasy or delusion.

Trump, the nation, and the State Department have no obligation to do so. The fact that it happened under previous presidents is irrelevant. No entitlement was created by that foolishness.

I read this story earlier today. I was struck by the thought of why Caitlyn Jenner thinks this problem has anything to do with Trump. It is OTHER countries who are not letting Jenner into their country. That's not Trump's fault. That's the other countries' faults. We are letting him dress up like a girl and fly on our planes. We aren't stopping Jenner, the other countries are. It's their fault. We are the ones actually being tolerant but the other countries are not.

Well, that is a different question. My point was that Jenner will not be prevented from travel, unless, as Independent thinker noted above, some other country is transphobic.

To answer the different question: Trump and his people are struggling, after four years of the Autopen Regime, to implement what I call "Reality Based Government."

Jenner has every right to get his hair, nails, and makeup done in advance of a party or an interview. Every right. No one should stop him.

But that will not change reality. Reality is that he is a large and formerly athletic male and everyone knows it. So his passport would naturally reflect that he is male. If the passport checker sees that he is trying to present as a female and wants to humor him and call him "ma'am," I'm fine with that.
