It makes our official passports reflect reality. That's what it accomplishes.

Besides portraying a different biological sex than one actually is, what other fantasies do you think should be included on U.S. Passports?

Should a person be allowed a personalized passport, like we can get a personalized license plate? Passports that say "Jedi" or "Mensa Member" or "Medical Doctor" if the person so identifies - even if they are not? Can my passport say "6'2", early thirties, benchpresses 300" as long as I identify that way?

Or how about you can also choose your nationality? I bet U.S. Passports that say the holder is Canadian might be pretty popular given the recent move to automatic registration for the draft. Would Canada be something-ist if they objected to that?
