I made no such claim. Context is California.

It is still not a national disgrace. Homeless is the product of individual choices. Homelessness exists everywhere in the world.

Just as you sarcastically refer to a claim I never made that there are no homeless where I am, there is no city on Earth that has no homeless.

It's not the duty of other people, to house people who do not have houses.

Contrary to your fake religious views... caring for people in need is "charity". That means it is a choice of the individual... not a duty. It is up to each individual to choose to help others or not to. Not a requirement, or duty, or a disgrace.

When you say "It is a national disgrace" you are implying that some how other people are obligated to pay for other people's homes.

That isn't true. That is just a spoiled brat, demanding others do something they want, and trying to fake some moral superiority for their actions.

Real people who engage in charity, are never selfishly sitting around pointing their fingers at others, just so they can virtue signal and pretend that their arrogance makes themselves better people.

In fact, you complaining, makes a mockery of your own charitable works. Because it exposes your motivation is only to make yourself look better.

Instead of blame shifting, and pointing fingers at everyone, and decrying the society that has one of the highest standards of living anywhere in the world, where the most people benefit from the most wealth.....

How about you focus on solutions that work? How about you start a charity to give care to the mentally ill? Or even better, how about you start identifying some of the causes of mental illness and fight against it? For example, California is in the top ten in states with pot use, and we know that pot and mental illness are linked.

Or even how about getting people back to work. There is lots of evidence that people not work, just not working itself, can lead to mental illness. What have you do to limit the causes of mental illness?

More welfare, and food stamps, which leads more to stay unemployed?

Each state, should deal with their own problems, and handing out free needless is not a cause of problems, not a solution. There is no disgrace to the rest of us, for their bad policies.

G5K, I'll agree with you on much of that. Sad it is. Drug and alcohol reign. Opiods are bad and most likely led to worse addictions.

Let me ask, do you support Trump's wall, or are you against it because of your hatred? Most of our heroin comes across that southern border, so wanting to lock up innocent manufacturers of the drug when they did nothing wrong is not the answer.

You have Warren and Sander's running around with free college, Medicare for all, paid parental leave, and not one mention about the homeless. Why? Because most of the homeless don't vote.

But it's Trump's fault, as if homelessness just started three years ago. In spite of your charity, if you really want to do something about drug addicted homeless people, the best thing you can do is vote for Trump, because he's the only one addressing the issue.
