Didn't the US try to fight the guerrilla forces of south Vietnam, and lost? The same thing could happen again. I think that technology is not the only factor determining the outcome of a war, you also have to take people's motivation into account. And Trump's unjustifiable abduction of a country's leader should serve to unite the people of countries that are usually disparate, and let us not forget that linguistically and ethnically, they identify more with Venezuelans.
