Nope. I have no interaction with students outside of class except emails about assignment. Hell, one is online from Alaska.

Who is sucking off the government? I have Army retirement and I paid taxes and Social Security. 3 years of that was Infantry combat and 3 years of unaccompanied tours (without family) to Korea and Turkey.I have 100% VA disability for wounds suffered in combat and I also get Social Security and Medicare. I worked 35 years as a press operator in a publishing company and have a substantial 401k. If that's sucking off the government then I want more and more and more.

No. Just one guy. The others work within a couple hours drive.

When I went through one of my apprenticeships I had to drive 2.5 hours 2 times a week after work to attend class. My instructor had absolutely nothing to do with my apprenticeship except to teach. He worked for a completely different company.
