Kills 2 birds with one stone, keep people from coming in here illegally and keep people from coming out of here illegally.
ORRRR we can look at the reasons why there are Mexicans coming here illegally, their govt. is in shambles and is horribly corrupt, their economy is terrible, influenced clearly by the huge drug cartels.
How do these drug cartels operate, where do they operate? They sell the most drugs here of course, what can we do about it? Tighten up our borders and crack up the drug war? We've been doing that, it hasn't been working clearly. Drug usage has only gone up and with roughly a quarter of the world's prison population right here in our states (the highest prison population in the world) we clearly can't keep up with this bullshit. Most of these people have been sent to jail for non-violent drug crimes, remember the types of prohibition we've had before? Alcohol? What did that do for us? Did it stop people from drinking?
No it lead to moonshine (a much more dangerous type of alcohol) and the creation of the Mafia and of course NASCAR (rednecks favorite sport).
This is what we're doing now with this nonsense, if we simply legalize drugs is everyone going to become a heroin addict overnight? Hell no, I know many of you wouldn't say you're not willing to do heroin just cuz the law told you not to. I would think the majority of you would IDK be able to think for yourself?! (But you know how you sheep are BAWWWW!) Of course there could be a licensing issue to buying drugs where you make sure that you pass a test to be able to buy and use drugs responsibly and that license can be suspended of course (similar to driving). Of course people will try to get around that if they mess up or whatever but think about how many people would be able to be just fine smoke weed in their basement or doing crack in their house, that's pretty much what most of these people are doing.
Laws don't stop any type of behavior, it will continue regardless we have to deem what really is disrupting our civil liberties, is some nigga doing crack bothering us? Hell no, why is he going to jail? Who gives a ****? Unless he's robbing people to get money for his crack then there's a problem. Yes it can be argued that drugs can create behaviors that lead to this, but think about what the drug war has done.
Drug usage is the highest here in the US than anywhere else in the world, it's only gone up since the beginning of the drug war. People are gonna do drugs, most aren't doing anything violent. It's time we wake up, not only would drugs be safer and cheaper if done through corporations or pharm companies but we'd be able to regulate and tax these drugs.
The drug business is the second biggest business in the world after war, there's a shit load of money in it, we'd create a huge revenue for states. We'd save money against the DEA and many people in jail, we'd create money for charging people who want to get drug licenses for the tests they have to pass. And most importantly this would be a huge hit to the Mexican drug cartel and the gangs on the street in the Bronx, Detroit, Atlanta and many other ghettos. They would lose most of their customers who would prefer to buy it legally and cheaper than buying unsafe illegal drugs with their license.
Think about it...
