Brooklyn McDonald’s bans teens under 20 without an adult

2 - These kids parents arent taking them anywhere. Daddy isnt around and momma is watching tv on a couch collecting welfare.
They take them into my building (grandkids), and they destroy everything they touch.

You live in an assisted living facility for the elderly.

But you can try to spin it how you want
Ever think of knowing what you're talking about ? My building is not assisted living one iota. Everyone is 100% on their own.

Only employees here are manager doing paperwork all day, a maintenance guy, and a janitor. Same as any other apartment building or complex.

If I had to provide paperz pleez under the supervision of armed men sent by the government just to have a 10 dollar McMac or whatever, I think I'd just keep on walking by.

Sounds like age discrimination.

That's a good point.

As the same time, OSHA requires all employers to provide their employees with a safe working environment.

So it looks like two different legal policies are in contradiction with each other.

Afraid they are going to eat too many big mac's and drink too much pepsi?

it's not a bar or a club thus this seems rather stupid
The stupid thing is that they feel it necessary……why would that be? I can send my 9yo into a McDonald’s where I live by herself with no worries if I wanted to

No.

So far this year, this McDonald's has called the police 29 times because of violent crime that happened inside the McDonald's.

Which is your “right” same as the entrepreneur’s right for their rules

Wow when I was 19 I met my 17 yr old girlfriend for the first time in a McDonalds with her mom. Her mom let me take her daughter home myself so we could chat alone while eating our food. Now neither of us would even be allowed INTO a McDonalds.

Times were different back then, for sure.

The reason that they feel it's necessary is because they had to call the police 29 times so far this year because of violent crime that was happening inside the restaurant.

Sadly yes times are much different now, I used to ride my bike all over town to friends house and would always find my way home for dinner, nowadays I won’t let my kids out of my sight cause the world is a sick ******* place

Yeah, whatever.

If any one of the people causing them to establish those rules wants to come in and tear shit up or assault someone they're gona do it regardless.

Much the same as the people who would just as soon shoot you in the face in one of those gun free zones that are all of the rage.

So they should just not even “try” to protect their investment and paying customers safety? Makes sense dumb ****

Talk about. And that was before cell phones, or at least before they were as prolific as they are now. So really only drug dealers and the wealthy had them back then, surely not two broke teens like me and her. So her mom truly trusted me the day she met me to not harm her daughter. It was really nice to be trusted like that. Now I've had moms grab their little girls and drag them away from me after I told her daughter hi in a Dollar General while I was getting a candy bar. It's ridiculous.

25 years ago I had women trusting me with their daughters the day they met me. Now I can't even talk to a child or I'm seen as a creep.

They can do what they want.

As I said, its just my personal choice to walk on by. An overpriced sandwich that's only gonna give me the shits anyway just isn't worth placating that whole paperz pleeze under the supervision of a government gun routine.

That is a choice.

This is the part where I just kind of laugh at you, winger.

I’m 43yo and understand, I imagine you might be a little older but yes times have changed dramatically and not for the better, even with the greatest invention ever with the internet

LOL I'm 45. I met her in an AOL teen chat room using dial up on a 75mhz Pentium 1 machine with 8mb of RAM, not GB, MEGABYTES running Windows 3.1 to give you an idea how long ago this was. Before the days of catfishing, it was nice as everyone was who they said they were, we didn't know who else to be LOL

In fact, that was when you paid by the minute on AOL, so we would always agree what time we would sign in to chat with each other online, so we didn't sit and cost money. We just thought it was neat to communicate on the computer rather than on the phone. It was all brand new to us back then. She lived right down the road so most of the time I just went to her house. I had a vehicle, she didn't, so of course I did all the driving.

The part I laugh at you is the part that this establishment, and it’s a ******* McDonald’s so not some mom n pop shop, FEELS THE NEED to implement this rule should be eye opening to anyone with a brain, apparently you lack one though

I remember when those aol chat rooms were all the rage, my buddy and I used to get a case of the cheapest light beer we could cause he looked old enough to purchase them, play beer pong in his basement and listen to MP3’s (I think) on his computer and play tiger woods golf on the PS and chat in random ail chat rooms
