here's a map... 16 States and DC STILL had these laws on the books in 1969 when Loving struck them down (red). The states in Orange still had them between 1948 and 1968.

Since my point was that states had these laws within my lifetime (1962- Present) - the following states didn't abolish them until after I was born.
