That's true to an extent, but if anyone watches the video the agent provided, he isn't really standing anywhere.
The video starts with him next to his partner who is telling Renee to get out of the car, and he is right behind the driver's door.

He then walks in a circle around the vehicle close enough to see through the windows (situation awareness), until he gets to Renee's wife who is talking shit, and he gives her a little room.

He almost makes it back to his partner on the driver's side who is still telling Renee to get out of the car, when she puts the vehicle in gear and gets shot to death.

That's what the **** happened, and if folks just watch the video and let the evidence speak for itself instead of trying to make it mean something it doesn't to make some kind of irrelevant political point, they might have actually noticed that.
